Hilary has had over 27 successful years training horses and riders in hunters, jumpers and equitation. She has taken many riders from the Short Stirrup to winning top honors in Junior Hunters, Medal Finals and even the Grand Prix ring. She teaches both horses and riders with endless patience, giving each the time they need to learn and develop at a pace that suits their individual needs. Hilary had many opportunities as a junior rider to train with talented and accomplished trainers on both coasts. She competed in jumpers, equitation, hunters, dressage and eventing. She began teaching and riding for her trainers Nancy Patton and Diane Yeager during the summers while she was still in high school. She and friend Paul Bennett started their own business, Sun Grove Farm, when she was in her mid twenties. Together they took many riders to year end championships, medal final wins and qualified several horses for Indoors. Hilary also rose up through the ranks in the jumpers under the guidance of Chris Borba and achieved her dream of competing in the Grand Prix ring. After a short hiatus from horses Hilary came back to start Rose Hill Stables. Once again she is developing successful horse and rider teams in every ring

Thank you to all the incredible teachers, mentors, horses and students who have helped me to be the rider and trainer I am today; there is nothing like the freedom you find on a horse.
